Gram and Peeps came to visit! The girls and I have really missed having them part of our everyday life! It was so great to see them again! We had so much fun with them, as always! We went on the Tram - which was amazing! I strongly suggest it to anyone who hasn't gone! It was my first time but now one of my favorite things to do here in ABQ!

Ellie was a little nervous but once she got on she had a blast!

The incredible view! It is amazing up there! You ride up viewing the New Mexico Mountains and ABQ city scape and on the other side of the mountain it is like you are in Colorado! Beautiful in so many different ways!

Rio Grande River

When Mak was staying with us we took him down to the Rio Grande - And we had a blast!

The girls love ANY water!!!

And they both love to play! Especially get dirty! More Ellie than Chloe! But they had FUN! MUD SCUB!

Mak really is a great dog! We love when he comes! It's perfect for me - and is good enough for Ellie for now! Sooner or later she is going to make us get another dog! She loves animals!

Uncle Cliffs

My Dad came to visit us! And the girls convinced him to go to Uncle Cliffs - FUN!!! : ) Chloe of course was a dare-devil. I didn't get any good pictures. I think the spinning ride, right off the bat didn't help, but I kept forgetting to take GOOD pictures. Here are a few not-so-good ones; )

The Big Day

It was the most wonderful day ever!!! - July 1st -
I am so lucky to have such an incredible husband, who is loving, kind, compassionate, patient, loves his job - helping people everyday, and is the greatest friend I could ever ask for! He is also pretty handsome!!! We all have so much fun together - it has been amazing! The girls and I have been able to spend more time together then ever before here in Rio Rancho - we love it.

I get to see them all day long at school!

I love walking out to the play ground, spying on their Music classes,

and joining in the fun on their PE days!

*I was told I have to wear tennis shoes those days; )

(I have an open pull-out schedule being the Gifted Teacher and I love it!)
Bike rides, walks, crafts, dance shows, reading, cooking and baking, etc... ; )

First Day of School

We had a great few first days of school here in Rio Rancho. I love the new school I work at and truly love that the girls are with me! Everything is wonderful - which feels a little weird!!! I love being married, happy, healthy and feeling complete. I'm working on a new blog - I'll update you as soon as I have it up and going! Love and miss you all!

Ellie is in 1st Grade - She has Ms. Sun - who is amazing!

Christmas morning was so much fun! Watching the girls, Jack and Jane made my year! They were so excited! The girls got an ipod fully loaded with their favorite songs; ) Thank You Santa!

They both instantly turned 13 as they ignored us all morning, yelling what! I think Ellie listened to music for 5 hours straight.

Rachael is here!!!! And we have had a blast - as always; ) It snowed here in Farmington and we couldn't resist getting the kids all bundled up to play in the snow. (POOR JACK!!! With all GIRL cousins he is surrounded in PINK! And unfortunately that is the only color of snow pants we had for him!)

Thank you, Grandma Sue Sue!!! Sometimes we come home to a special bag (normally from Target; ) on our door step, full of wonderful things for the girls! This time we received the new Tinkebell Movie and Ice Age 3 AND these super cute outfits for church!!! With the extra hour last Sunday and new outfits, I was talked into curling the girls hair- Shirley Temple style. They looked so CUTE!

This is Chloe and Ellies Room Photo Shoot; ) The girls are pretty sad that we will be leaving this cute house, but they are very excited to go live with their Grams and Peeps. They wanted to do a photo shoot in their room so they could remember it. It was so much fun! They looked so cute and I have loved this room; )

Fall: Raking Leaves

We have a huge tree in our back yard! The girls love to climb it....

But along with a HUGE tree we also have a HUGE amount of leaves to rake! The girls have loved having this big back yard and have looked forward to fall, when they can rake and jump in the leaves!

One of my best friends, the girls' Autie Jessica, is a wonderful photographer! She took the girls on a photo shoot, which they loved! She got so many great shots I couldn't choose a few favorites, I had too many that I loved.

Jessica found this RED wall in Aztec. The house was burnt down and only had four walls. This red wall was a perfect place to take pictures.

The girls both got Converse High Tops: Chuck Talyors, and they love them. They think they are awesome. It's a blast from the past each time I see them!

These are their fancy shirts with matching scarves! They had to have them!

I really don't know how to start this, but I am saying goodbye to my best friend in the whole wide world-Rachael. She is moving half way across the WORLD to Cambodia. I have been in Utah for the last week helping her organize and sell the insides of her house, everything is furnished in Cambodia. WE HAVE PLAYED THE DAYS AWAY ENTERTAINING Chloe, Ellie, Jack, and sweet Jane - But at night we have worked until the early morning getting things ready. We have had a great time together a memory that will be talked about in the future and we look forward to visiting her Asian Style: ) These are the last of my photos, RANDOM - I was too busy to really document the last few days well~

Hogle Zoo

One of our favorite things to do in Salt Lake is go to Hogle Zoo. I took a lot of pictures, so bare with me on this post. (I have been taking advantage of Rachael's Internet and these post will be the last until the first day of school pictures are taken: )

I can not get enough of this girl. She is the greatest, NEVER cries, and can keep up with the best of us on these busy jam packed days! Jane Taylor, LOVE her!

Rachael and I let all the kids have ICEEs. They all were loving having their own. We normally make them all share one!

When ever there is face painting around my girls beg me to do it! And surprisingly enough Jack was up for it this time too!

We thought Jack would want a Dinosaur, but he was dead set on getting an elephant! He was such a big boy and held perfectly still!

COWABUNGA BAY

Today we went to the new water park in Draper. I came to Utah to help Rachael pack up to leave to Cambodia ) ; We had to have some fun last memories, so today was Cowabunga Bay and tomorrow the zoo. The day are entertaining the kiddos and the nights are filled of sorting and packing. (Kristina and her girls are all sick, we were so sad we didn't get to see them today!)

Chloe was a tropper, she took Jack on all the slides and on the lazy river, in between her trips down the slides.

Jane was the greatest sunbaby I know. She just soaked it up the whole time!

Chloe and Ellie were fearless! They went down all 10 slides many times over. This one is the biggest slide! They loved it!

They all loved this bucket, 100s of gallons of water pouring on their head!

A FUN Day!

Camping

Strangely enough I have really started to enjoy camping! The girls love it and it is a time when we can all relax, away from the phone and just spend time together. Again I'm so bad at taking pictures right now and missed some great times just around the fire. Ellie loves the flaming marshmallow and Chloe can make them perfectly golden brown. The one AWESOME thing we did do this time, was go horse back riding! The girls loved it! Ellie had a little fall, but she got right back on and loved the experience! Chloe was on cloud nine and now is trying to figure out how she could get a horse at our house; )They paint rocks, hike, wade through the river, and eat really yummy food! It's amazing to be out in nature and so close to Heavenly Father's creations.

Chloe turned seven! I can not believe it, I'm still in denial and tell everyone she is 6. She is very quick to correct me "Mommm, I'm seven!" We had a little party when Papaw Mark was in town and then she had a party Finch's house and then a kid party! Summer birthdays are way too much fun!!!!

The kid party was so much fun! We had the best little friends come over! They had a great time and of course the only pictures I took were blowing out the candles. The kids played with the slip-and-slide, pizza, pinata, and cupcakes! We also had Allison stay the night, it was so much fun!

I really have become such a BAD photographer. There were so many family and friends at these parties and I didn't document any of it) ; Thank you to all of you that love and support my girls. We are all so blessed with wonderful people surrounding us!!!!

A Trip to Colorado

The girls and I were invited to go visit Luke, and stay at Aunt Pam and Uncle Wes's house! Chloe and Ellie LOVE Uncle Wes! So off we went for the greatest weekend! Of course, no camera: ( The only pictures I have are terrible, from my phone: (
The first day we played all day at "airplane park" with Jenn's cute kids! That night, Luke showed us around 16th Street Mall, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, rode on a horse and carriage, ate icecream, gave money to all the street preformers and laughed all night long!

We were invited to a breakfast in the Garden of Cari Cardon and boy was that a treat! Hot chocolate in fine china, pancakes, homemade syrup, fruit, granola, yogurt and more! We felt like queens!

Saturday we went to Elitch Gardens (amusement park) Luke and Chloe went on all the scary rides while Ellie and I ate cotten candy and popcorn; ) They got their faces painted and they LOVED it!!!!! But after Luke and I decided we were getting a little old, our stomachs just can't hack it anymore!

We had the greatest time! Thank you so much!

We have been having the best summer, and none of it is documented except on my sister's cameras. (The last month of school I had my camera stolen at my 8th Grade Poetry Slam:( SO THANK YOU RACHAEL, KRISTINA, and KATIE for letting me always steal your pictures!

First my little sister and I went to New York City and had a blast! The funny thing is we didn't take any pictures but of our cute little/big faces: ) The time together was priceless, the first time ever in our lives to go somewhere without children or spouces! She is my greatest friend! (Thank you Dan for the tickets, the best Christmas present to date!)

Rio Grande ZOO

We went to the zoo this weekend. I had to run to ABQ real quick this weekend and we decided to make the best of it!

They watched the monkeys forever!

And they talked me into letting them ride a camel. I got out the sanitizer after that ride!

They had a lot of fun! It was a beautiful day!

My mom called me on Friday May 8th, at school 1:30 pm, "Do you want to go to Phoenix? We are leaving at 5:00." (Of course, if you know me, I'm always up for a trip; ) "Sure mom! I get off at 4:15 pm I'll pack up the girls and we will be ready!"
We went down there to see Bodee and Alisa's Family! They are so great! We miss them so much and it was nice to have some time with them! We went to Colton's State Baseball game - they won, even in the heat, it was 105 + degrees! And then went and watched Colton play at a club!

My Dad came into town for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. I have been so behind in so many areas: ( We had so much fun visiting with him. My girls adore Papaw! We went on a walk Sunday at Burg Park, not too many signs of Spring around here yet!

I finally took the girls over to see Nora! They had to wait for their coughs and colds to go away. I still think they mauled her to death, but Nora was a great sport! She is the sweetest baby ever! We are so excited to have her sweet spirit in our family!

The girls took about 300 pictures of her. A serious photo shoot! I love this profile shot! Chloe took it!

Chloe thinks she helped name Nora. She kept telling them to name her Sarah Grayce, and she is pleased as punch that Grayce is her middle name!

When we were leaving Ellie said, "Nora feels like my Baby Doll, she is so cute and tiny!"

I think Chloe might grow up to be a photographer she loves to take pictures and did a good job at this one too!

A teacher at Tibbetts told me about this amazing website. I gave gift certificate loans as presents for Christmas and a friend gave me one. It is the PERFECT gift for someone who has everything! Utah was beautiful! It was 50 degrees outside and the girls built Aunt Cho's first snowman at their house! Her neighbors even called to comment on the snowman! (No other yards had one, I guess when you get this much snow, building a snowman gets old!) We had so much FUN!

We received a letter in the mail from Maya Alvarez, asking us to send her kindergarten class a picture or postcard about New Mexico. The girls had a good time looking for a Shiprock postcard and then we sent this picture with Felix (Maya's rabbit that she colored) and our flag. Happy Halloween! We had a great time this year. We were with all the cousins except Jack ; ( Chloe was a mummy, "No makeup, and no wraps past my knees or elbows!" Ellie was a pirate/ black ballerina, she realy just wanted to wear leg-warmers and a tutu!

Ellie dressed up 5 times! wow! That is why we had this little photo shoot! (Chloe wasn't dressed up this time.)

Can you believe that the Finch's have 10 grandchildren now! We were very excited because we were able to see the newest addition on Halloween! He is the cutest little guy, Benjamin Finch! Jessica and Ryus had a boy!

I'm so sad we were with Bella and Olea most the night and I didn't get any pictures!!! ; (

School started, Ellie goes to preschool every morning, Chloe is in 1st Grade, and I'm teaching 8th Grade English with one ESL class, and volleyball again -yikes- The girls start ballet today, they are so excited! AND We moved out of my mom's and Ron's into the cutest little house! : ) I got extremely SICK from the stress of it all - nothing new there, : ( but am feeling much better! The girls love the Finch tradition of going to the FAIR. They were so lucky because they went twice, they had to show me those first place ribbons! (thanks Amber; )

We had a slumber party with their favorite cousin Allison. Swimming, Dunkin Doughnuts, Crafts, Movies, etc...

Aunt Amber is amazing and always finds time each summer to enter her children's art and collections in the local fair. So this year I decided to let the girls all Puff Paint a shirt and enter it also in the fair, thanks to Amber for doing my leg-work too! We bought the shirts and iron-on decal (princess of course) and then the girls went to town.

This last week, Chloe has been having a blast at basketball camp! She was thrilled to receive her first basketball, t-shirt, and water bottle. lol

Before camp, practicing keeping her guard up.

She is a such a good dribbler. She does it with such ease. It was a little scary to see such resemblance to her dad... I was taking second looks at all the photos, her body, form, and expressions are identical!!!

Here she is beating a 2nd grader to the basket. I know she doesn't have much of a choice when it comes to this sport, but she truly shines on the court. She had such a great time, and I look forward to many games cheering her on.

The girls and I went camping up above Lemon Lake, at Transfer Park. We had so much fun! It was my first time taking the girls and we did it all. Marshmellows, Smores, Hot Dogs, Mountain Man Breakfast, Hiking, Zip Cord, Fishing, Painting Rocks, Hot Springs... I'm so tired ; )

Well I had incredibly way too much fun in Utah this last week! It is so nice to have such a great best friend and have it be your sister. After many request...lol, ok maybe just 3, I have decided to uphold my obligation to family and friends by posting the ups-and-downs of life. I have a few questions for you first? 1. When is Kristina going to get a camera so we can enjoy her amazing skills? 2. Why does Alisa hate Oprah? 3. Does Katie have to post the ugliest picture of my child? 4.When are we ever going to get to see Doug and Sara? They are too far away! and 5. Tara's life looks way too incredibliy fun!!!

NEW CHAPTER IN LIFE

My last week of work is bitter-sweet! I love to teach! I have truly found something that I love to do! It is such an odd feeling to work so hard for something, achieve the success and fulfillment you desired and then be able to walk away from it so easily... I'm sure it has something to do with looking forward to becoming best friends with the sweetest 4 year old around, Ellie. I can't wait to spend time with her and all the kids, and look forward to helping in Chloe's class, and finally trying some recipes from Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld. I've read the cookbook, now time for some puree and cooking! Hopefully the boys won't think I'm too weird, slipping carrots and chickpeas into chocolate chip cookies..... A new chapter ; )

My girls love to eat PIZZA! They would eat it every night if they could! (Ellie loves it for breakfast too!)

This is a favorite past time. Dancing and listening to music at Grams. Chloe and Peeps have logged the hours on the dance floor. He has been dancing with her since she was a few months old. Peeps is a great dancer, thanks to his mother's dancing lessons!

Two CUTE CATS!

I hate to admit it but it was bugging me so bad that Chloe and Ellie were in dress-up clothes from the playroom at the church party! It took a lot to get them to wear the cat outfits, but look how cute they are!

My girls and me! I always said when I was little that I would dress up as an adult and be so much fun on Halloween, but it is just not my thing! Even my students were disappointed! Oh well, maybe some day!

Chloe has been Violet 4 times and then the cat costume! And sweet Ellie has been a ballerina princess three times, tinkerbell once, and then the cat. I hate to say this but I had to make them wear the cat, right? It's the principle of it all. That is what they wanted, I bought it, and now they have to wear it!
